The 25th International Conference on Emergency Medicine took place in Hamburg, Germany, 9–13 June 2026, bringing together emergency medicine professionals from around the world. GeriEM highlights included:

• A half-day workshop delivered the ETGEM GeriEM Bootcamp course, providing participants with key skills in geriatric emergency medicine.
• Six of the 43 stands at the conference’s Educational Marketplace were dedicated to geriatric emergency medicine topics, reflecting the growing prominence of the field within the global emergency medicine community.
• Dr Rosa McNamara organised a GEM Harbour Walk, using Hamburg’s beautiful parks as a setting to explore the core GeriEM concepts of Mind, Medications, Mobility, and Matters Most.
• Dr Victoria Meighan presented an excellent extremely well-attended immersive simulation session on GeriEM trauma.
